Online ADHD Coaching for Teenagers, Young People and Parents

Does any of this sound familiar if you're living with ADHD?

Perhaps you're watching your teenager lose confidence and wondering how to help. Maybe family life has become a constant battle, and you're exhausted by the misunderstandings, arguments or emotional overwhelm. Or perhaps you're a young person trying to understand why life feels harder than it seems to for everyone else. ADHD doesn't just affect the person with ADHD, it affects the people who care about them too.

Whatever has brought you here, you're not alone.

ADHD can make everyday life feel harder than it needs to be, not because you're lazy or not trying hard enough, but because your brain works differently.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Home feels like one long battle over homework, routines or getting out of the door.

  • You know you're capable, but getting started or staying on track feels much harder than it should.

  • You're watching your child's confidence disappear and you're not sure how to help.

  • You feel overwhelmed by everyday life, even though everyone else seems to manage.

  • You want to understand what's really going on, not just keep firefighting.

Whether you're a parent trying to support your child, a teenager who feels misunderstood, or a young adult wondering why everyday life feels harder than it should... you're in the right place.

ADHD coaching offers a space to understand your brain, develop practical strategies that work for you, and feel more confident taking your next steps. Sessions are available online across the UK, making support accessible wherever you live.

I'm an online ADHD coach with over 20 years' experience working with young people, including many years as a teacher and SENCo/ALNCo supporting neurodivergent learners.

Over time, I became increasingly frustrated with the lack of practical support available. I saw parents wait years for an assessment, only to receive a diagnosis with no tools, no guidance and no help for day-to-day life. Teenagers and young adults were left struggling to understand themselves, and families were left to cope alone.

At the same time, I was supporting my husband through his ADHD diagnosis and learning how to parent a neurodivergent child. I saw first-hand how difficult it can feel and how much difference it makes when someone truly understands ADHD.

Next Steps ADHD Coaching was born from those experiences and from a simple belief: people with ADHD deserve support that works with their brain, not against it.

Whatever your next step looks like, you don't have to take it alone.

My Aproach

Understanding what's really going on

ADHD doesn't look the same in everyone.

It can show up as forgetfulness, overwhelm, avoiding tasks, struggling to get started or seeming to overreact. Many of these challenges are misunderstood because they don't always look like what people expect ADHD to be.

Together we'll make sense of how ADHD shows up for you, so we can understand what's getting in the way and find approaches that fit.

Practical and grounded

There isn't one strategy that works for everyone.

What works brilliantly for one person with ADHD may not work at all for someone else. Together we'll explore what's getting in the way, what already helps and what small changes are likely to make the biggest difference in your everyday life.

The aim isn't to change who you are, it's to find approaches that make life feel a little easier.

Supporting the whole family

Whether it's your child, you, or both, ADHD can affect the whole family.

Many parents tell me they feel exhausted, isolated and unsure how to help. They wonder why everyday things seem so difficult, despite everyone's best efforts.

Coaching isn't about finding someone to blame. It's about helping everyone better understand ADHD and each other, so relationships feel stronger and no one has to work it all out alone.

Whether you're waiting for an assessment, recently diagnosed or simply exploring whether ADHD might explain what you're experiencing, you don't have to wait to start understanding yourself or the person you care about.
