About ADHD Coaching
What is ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching isn't about someone telling you what to do.
It's about giving you the time and space to understand what's really going on, think things through and find practical strategies that work for your brain and your everyday life.
Together, we'll work towards the goals that matter most to you.
How is coaching different from counselling or therapy?
Coaching isn't therapy.
Therapy often helps people understand and work through emotional or psychological difficulties. Coaching focuses on understanding what's happening now and helping you move forward with practical strategies.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis?
No.
Some people come to coaching with a diagnosis, while others are waiting for an assessment or simply wondering whether ADHD might explain the challenges they're experiencing.
Coaching starts with where you are now, not with a diagnosis.
What happens in a coaching session?
Every coaching session is different because every person is different.
We'll talk about what's going well, what's feeling difficult and what's getting in the way. Together we'll explore practical strategies that fit your life and help you move towards the goals that matter to you. Coaching is not about telling you what to do, it's about helping you better understand yourself, organise your thoughts and find ways small steps that work to make life a little bit easier.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on what you'd like to achieve.
Some people want support with one specific challenge, while others prefer longer-term coaching. We'll talk about your goals during your discovery call and decide together what feels right for you.
Coaching for Teenagers, Young Adults & Parents
Is ADHD coaching right for me (or my child)?
Coaching can help if you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure where to start.
Whether you're a teenager, young adult or parent, coaching provides the time and space to understand what's getting in the way and find practical ways forward.
If you're unsure whether coaching is the right fit, a free discovery call is the best place to start.
Can ADHD coaching help me become more independent?
Yes.
Many young adults come to coaching during times of change, such as starting college or university, beginning work, moving out or becoming more independent.
Coaching isn't about having all the answers. It's about understanding what's really going on, building practical strategies and feeling more confident managing everyday life.
Is coaching only for people with ADHD?
No.
Many of the people I work with have ADHD or think they may have ADHD, but coaching can also help people who struggle with organisation, planning, motivation, confidence or executive functioning.
If you're unsure whether coaching is right for you, we can talk about it during a free discovery call.
Where are the coaching sessions held?
All coaching sessions take place online, so you can access support wherever you are in the UK. All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection.
Do you only work with people in South Wales?
No.
I provide online coaching across the UK.
Alongside coaching, I also deliver parent workshops, school workshops and consultancy across South Wales.
Can parents have coaching too?
Absolutely.
Supporting a child with ADHD can be rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. Parent coaching provides a space to think things through, better understand your child's ADHD and develop practical strategies that work for your family
